How much do cooking classes cost in Pretoria?
Kitchen Addiction’s Social Cooking Classes cost R1 000 per person. Team-Building Cooking Experiences cost R850 per person, while the four-class Short Course costs R3 800 per person. All ingredients, equipment, aprons and chef-led tuition are included.
Where are Kitchen Addiction’s cooking classes held?
Our cooking classes are held at Kitchen Addiction in Midstream - Centurion. The exact location details are provided when your booking is confirmed.
Are your cooking classes suitable for beginners?
Yes. Our Beginner Short Course teaches essential skills such as kitchen hygiene, knife skills, menu planning, ingredient selection and the preparation of everyday meals. Classes are practical, hands-on and limited to four cooks so that everyone receives personal attention.

Dietary requirements must be discussed with Chef Anni before booking; changes cannot be made during the class. Our kitchen is not formally Halaal-certified, but Halaal-friendly ingredients can be arranged for your menu.
How long does each cooking class take?
Social Cooking Classes last approximately three hours. Each Short Course class lasts three hours, with four classes presented over four Thursday or Saturday mornings. Team-Building Cooking Experiences take approximately three to four hours.
How many people can attend?
Social Cooking Classes accommodate one to eight guests and proceed once at least four cooks have booked for the selected date. Short Courses are limited to four cooks. Team-Building Cooking Experiences accommodate groups of 10 to 20 guests. Contact Chef Anni for larger groups: 082 386 7856.
How do I book and pay?
Complete the Booking Request Form on our website and select the type of experience you are interested in. Kitchen Addiction accepts EFT payments only, and Chef Anni will confirm your booking once the required deposit or full payment has been received.

Your sense of humour and perhaps a bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal. Absolutely everything else is provided.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. You are welcome to book one place and join other like-minded home cooks. Each Social Cooking Experience proceeds once at least four cooks in total have booked for that date. A maximum of eight cooks can attend.
Is there a certain type of cuisine you miss?
Tired of takeaways that are too greasy, too salty or just unhealthy? Call us to discuss a custom class.
My company needs an invoice.
Good news — on the Booking Request Form, tick “I need a business invoice for this booking”. Three extra fields appear: billing/company name, billing address, and your own reference or PO number. Chef Anni then emails a PDF invoice with the EFT banking details, addressed to your company. Please note that Kitchen Addiction is not a VAT vendor, so it is not a VAT invoice.

Do you offer team-building cooking experiences?
Yes. We offer hands-on Team-Building Cooking Experiences in Midstream - Centurion. These weekday experiences accommodate groups of 10 to 20 guests and last approximately three to four hours. Everyone cooks together before sitting down to enjoy the meal they have created.

Team-Building Cooking Experiences run on weekdays only (no weekends), with start times of 12:00, 13:00 or 14:00. Each experience lasts approximately three to four hours, so your team can cook together and still sit down to enjoy the meal afterwards.
Is the team-building experience competitive or collaborative?
It can be either. Teams usually cook together in a relaxed, collaborative way, but if your group enjoys a little friendly rivalry, Chef Anni can build in some light competition along the way. Tell us what suits your team when you book.
What if some of our team members can't cook at all?
No problem at all — most guests are complete beginners. Everything is hands-on but fully guided by Chef Anni, the mise en place is prepared for you, and everyone works at their own dedicated workstation. Nobody watches from a chair, and nobody is left behind.
Can you host a team-building event at our office?
Our team-building experiences are hosted at the Kitchen Addiction kitchen in Midstream - Centurion, which is fully equipped for groups of 10 to 20. If you have a special request for another venue, call or WhatsApp Chef Anni on 082 386 7856 to discuss it.
What notice and deposit does a team-building booking need?
Team-building bookings require at least 10 days’ notice. A 50% deposit secures the date, and the remaining balance must be paid seven days before the class. If you need assistance, call or WhatsApp Chef Anni on 082 386 7856.
What is the cancellation policy for team-building bookings?
Because dates are reserved exclusively for your group and ingredients are bought in advance, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. If something comes up, contact Chef Anni as soon as possible on 082 386 7856 and we will do our best to move your booking to a new date.
